Siggraph is over! It's my last day in LA and I'm very happy to be heading home. It was an intense week of 8am-8pm days on the E-On exhibit. It was fantastic to get access to the Exhibit at all times too! Met all the big guns back stage when no one else was around.
It is impossible to say how it has effected my career but it's sure to show in the next few months. I was lucky enough to meet up with two legends from Dreamworks Animation, a senior cinematic designer from Blizzard, people from Weta Digital and MPC (Motion Picture Company)... Among the hot shots there were others from the film industry who are less known.
In the coming months I will be commencing webinars for E-On Software and CGSchool. They will first be 1 hour training sessions using Vue and then expanding to 3 hour sessions later on.
Come October I have work offers ramping up considerably so it should be a very interesting time. I don't want to spoil the surprises now though
but once I have something confirmed I'll post the info up!
Siggraph next year is in Vancouver, Canada and i'm keen to go! Next time, however, I'm definitely not going alone! I have had a couple of really quiet days here and I don't want any of that in Canada, I've been told the place is just a fantastic place and I wouldn't dare go without my girl! So watch out Canada!
We're on the way.

In a completely unrelated topic, I've realised that you can tell a lot from a single frame of life. I have a photo of my girlfriend and suspended just a split moment before kissing and the more I look at it the more I realise it's not just two people entwined. A single shot like that can show who people are romantically. I'll post the picture up in a moment. I'm sure no one has bothered to read this far anyway
So long for now!
