A submit of a different kind today.
Playing around in world machine I decided to make the kind of fissures and cutaways that you see in glaciers. Because the terrain is heightmap based it is extremely hard to get details (aka, impossible) on vertical face . This *could* however, be fixed by adding a displacement fractal bump in Vue8 and locking it to the horizontal axis but that is *extremely* CPU intensive so I decided just to post my WM2 findings here and leave it at that

I think this effect could be acheived using a procedural terrain, a basic fractal and a clever use of filters too
